"The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature.."  -Alfred Austin

About Me

Jeff, Gardener in Chief

Contrary to popular opinion, some people in the Hamptons enjoy getting their hands dirty. I'm a self-taught gardener in East Hampton, NY that enjoys sharing my gardening experiences and inspiration with others. Hope you enjoy my blog and galleries.

A Colorful Composition

This Waterlogue image is of a pansy orchid.  I shot the original photograph at the New York Botanical Garden Orchid Show last spring.  With their vibrant, clear colors, most orchids make great subject matters for this watercolor treatment.

I probably won't make it to the Orchid Show this year which is currently open until April 21st. However, I do have quite a few additional photographs from last year's show that I think will make nice Waterlogue art.  I'll share more orchid images later.

If you missed my earlier introduction to Waterlogue, clich HERE.
