Wish You Were Here

You and me both. Still buried under snow and ice here at my Hamptons Garden.  Temperatures hovering around 32 degrees.  Freezing rain on its way according to weather forecasts.  So I thought it would be nice to mentally transport myself to the warm, sunny days I spent in Florence, Italy a few years ago.

Here's a Waterlogue version of a photo I took at the Bardini Gardens which is one of the oldest gardens in Florence. The beautiful purple irises illuminated by the sun looked gorgeous running along the stone stairway. I can almost feel the sun on my back. Hope this picture helps warm you up a bit too today.
